Learn how your congregation can join IVRF

The Interfaith Voices for Reproductive Freedom (IVRF) has two categories of membership, Active and Supporting. Active membership is most appropriate for congregations with a large volunteer base, while Supporting membership may be better suited for smaller congregations. Either category is available to any size congregation.
Active member congregations will:
- Obtain approval from your appropriate decision-making congregational authority to join IVRF.
- Agree to have your name appear on IVRF communications (such as website and letterhead).
- Designate two congregants to serve as Key Contacts to IVRF.
- Encourage congregation members to get involved by serving on an IVRF Committee
- Offer an educational event focusing on relevant reproductive freedom issues for your congregation, and if possible, one that may be open to the public.
Supporting member congregations will:
- Agree to the first two requirements listed above.
- Designate an individual to receive IVRF meeting minutes
- Encourage your congregation’s participation in IVRF events
- Offer your congregation learning opportunities, if possible.

- Beth El Synagogue (Conservative)

To learn more about how you can support our efforts and how your congregation can become a member of IVRF, contact the Membership team. We welcome all faiths.
If you would like to get involved in our work but are not sure if your congregation is interested in becoming a member at this time, please see the About IVRF page to learn how you can support our work as an individual. Our membership team is happy to engage with sincere organizations on congregational education projects even if membership is not yet something being considered.
If you do not identify as a person of faith we invite you to consider joining a secular organization that aligns with your views; suggested groups can be found on the Resources page of our website.
