
Recurring Volunteer Opportunity: Abortion Patient and Provider Care Bags
Each month, a different IVRF member congregation volunteers to pack bags to provide comfort to abortion patients and appreciation for staff at local abortion care providers.
IVRF Members Registering Women to Vote Who Were Kicked Off the Rolls
A hearty congratulations to the congregations of IVRF. Working together, we were able to text and phone 1400 women who believed that they were registered but had recently been removed from the voter rolls in our state. With our message, we assured them that they could still vote early in person with the right documents to re-register. It was a great effort in defense of democracy and exactly the kind of request that IVRF was formed to respond to.


IVRF Key Contacts Retreat
On Sunday, July 14th, IVRF gathered representatives from each of our 12 member congregations to discuss our Get Out the Vote efforts. With the election just a few months away, we left feeling energized and excited to continue our fight for reproductive freedom.
Defend Medication Abortion Rally
On March 26th, 2024, SCOTUS heard a case challenging the FDA-approval of mifepristone, a medication used for over 20 years in the US to safely terminate pregnancies. IVRF mobilized over 80 members of local faith communities to speak out in support of access to crucial healthcare.


Roe v. Wade Anniversary Press Conference
On what would have been the 51st anniversary of the landmark Roe ruling, IVRF gathered over 100 people of faith and a dozen faith leaders to declare that bans on abortion defy morality and endanger lives.
